All Things Somerset

"All Things Somerset"

a two day Plein Air Event

What is Plein Air?

Plein Air painting is a phrase borrowed from the French meaning "open (in full) air." It is used to describe the act of painting outdoors, where a painter reproduces the visual conditions experienced at the time of the painting.

All Things Somerset invites artists from all over the East Coast to enter and create art in the open air.  Artists will paint throughout Somerset County, Maryland; which offers subjects such as historic homes, harbors, skipjacks, work boats, landscapes, just to name a few examples.

A minimum of 15 artists must be registered or the program will be cancelled.
